What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of the tariffwise.ai website, the free classifier demo, and your account. TariffWise is the brand operating this site; contact for all matters is [email protected]. By using the site you accept these terms.

Estimates, not rulings

Everything the demo produces, including HS/HTS codes, duty and tax rates, and landed-cost figures, is an AI-generated best-effort estimate provided for general guidance. It is not a binding customs ruling, not legal advice, not tax advice, and not a substitute for a licensed customs broker or the determinations of a customs authority. You are responsible for verifying any classification or rate before relying on it in a filing, a price, or a contract. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TariffWise is not liable for duties, taxes, penalties, holds or losses arising from reliance on demo output.

Fair use of the demo

The demo is free for genuine, human evaluation. Do not scrape it, hammer it with automated traffic, resell its output as a service, or attempt to break or overload it. We rate-limit and may block abusive use. Do not submit unlawful content or other people's confidential information.

Your account

Your account opens a company workspace as soon as you confirm your email. The workspace owner chooses the plan, invites teammates up to the plan's seats and can cancel at any time. Plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in advance; each plan includes a monthly number of classifications that renews every month of the subscription, and unused classifications do not carry over. A cancelled plan stays active until the end of the paid period. The pricing shown on this site can change; if it changes for the worse, existing subscribers keep their price until they are told and agree.

Renewals and failed payments. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. When a new billing period begins, access for that whole period is granted and the payment for it is due. If the charge does not go through, the payment remains due and we retry it. Cancelling after a new period has begun only switches off later renewals; it does not cancel the payment for the period that has already started. Such a renewal charge is not refundable, and your access continues until the end of that paid period. The fee is for access to the service for the period, not for using it, so not having used the service is not a ground for a refund.

Plan changes and refunds. A new account includes 3 classifications once, with no card, so you can test the workspace before paying. Moving to a more expensive plan or to yearly billing charges the prorated difference straight away, and the new plan starts once that payment goes through. Moving to a cheaper plan leaves the unused part of what you paid as a credit on your account, which is taken off your next invoices; it is not paid out. Payments are otherwise not refunded, including the first payment for a plan. If you were charged by mistake, for example twice for the same period, write to [email protected] and we will correct it.

Intellectual property

The site's design, copy and code belong to TariffWise. Classifications you generate in the demo are yours to use; we would appreciate, but do not require, attribution when you share them.

The service is provided as-is

The site and the service are offered as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We may change, pause or shut down any part of it at any time.
